WeRAISE Program

Program Details

Who Should Apply: 
Female founders who are actively raising capital and have completed their due diligence process, and ideally raising between $250K - $1M. This program is designed for entrepreneurs seeking to connect with a supportive peer group and team of advisors to champion them through the challenging process of raising capital. Leverage resources, expand connections, and promote each other to RAISE your collective goals.

Launch Date:                       

Sessions begin February 1, 2018, and continue bi-weekly until early May. Specific meeting days of week will be decided by the cohort, but please expect to meet in person every 2 weeks.

Course Details:
WeRAISE is a collaborative cohort model, focused on peer support, and access to opportunities including pitch events, investor meetings, showcase opportunities, shared public relations and more. Our goal is to create a professional, friendly peer support group that our WeRAISE advisors can guide, coach and create opportunities. We’ll turn what can be a lonely and stressful process into a supported, positive and informed capital-raising experience.
 
Fees:                                      

$1500 plus GST and 1% of funds raised in program as part of the Fee. (Includes $500 credit to FrontFundr or Spring Activator)

Who Should Apply: 
Female founders who are starting to consider raising capital, are Pre-MVP and/or received a loan or completed a family/friends round, but need guidance on next steps

Course Details:
 

Course content is a partnership between Spring Activator and The RAISE Collective.          

Session 1                     Jan 23 - Capital Raising Fundamentals (in person)
Session 2                     Jan 30 - Due diligence (online / virtual)
Session 3                     Feb 6 -  Pitch practice Clinic (in person)
Session 4                     Feb 13 - Negotiations/ Getting to a close (in person)

All sessions will have a RAISE lead mentor available for follow-on questions and guidance.
